MB Companies– Headquarters (Baldwin)

Full-Time - Hourly

MB Companies is seeking a hands-on HQ Supervisor to lead daily recycling, baling, and shipping operations at our Headquarters location. This role serves as theprimary lead for material processing activities, including scrap metal,cardboard, and other recyclable materials.

The HQ Supervisor will oversee baler operations, inbound and outbound materialflow, yard coordination, inventory tracking, and supervision of the operationsand team.   This is an active, working supervisor rolethat requires leadership on the floor, strong attention to detail, and comfortusing operational systems such as ScrapRight and scale software.

Key Responsibilities

Baler & Material Processing

·       Lead and operate baler operations toensure safe, efficient, and consistent production.

·       Coordinate material flow to and fromthe baler to minimize downtime.

·       Oversee baling and staging of scrapmetal, cardboard, and other recyclable materials for shipment.

·       Maintain Equipment including but notlimited to baler and forklifts

·       Support special projects or alternateduties when baling demand is reduced.

Inbound/ Outbound Coordination

·       Manage inbound and outbound materialmovements at HQ.

·       Coordinate truck staging, trafficflow, loading readiness, and shipment schedules.

·       Communicate effectively with scaleoperators, drivers, and management.

Supervision & Team Leadership

·       Supervise and lead a team ofemployees.

·       Assign daily tasks, set priorities,and monitor productivity.

·       Serve as the go-to leader on-site forbaling and shipping operations.

·       Enforce safety standards,housekeeping, and operational best practices.

·       Train and support team members to meetperformance expectations.

Systems, Scales, & Inventory

·       Utilize ScrapRight for materialtracking, inventory management, and transaction processing.

·       Accurately operate floor scales andtruck scales.

·       Track inventory, finished goods, andmaterial movement.

·       Maintain accurate records and report discrepancies to management.

Qualifications & Skills

·       Experience in recycling, scrap,warehouse, yard operations, manufacturing, or similar industrial environmentspreferred.

·       Prior baler or heavy-equipmentexperience strongly preferred.

·       Familiarity with scale operations andinventory systems (ScrapRight experience a plus).

·       Proven ability to supervise a teamwhile remaining hands-on.

·       Strong organizational skills andattention to detail.

·       Commitment to safety, accountability,and teamwork.

·       Forklift Certified or willing to getcertified and learn other equipment as needed

·       CDL Class A license, or the ability and willing to obtain
